Beaded Candy Cane

In November 2007 I posted ideas for Beaded Candy Canes. Of all the beaded candy cane ornaments I talked about, I like the one found at Craft Elv. This Beaded Candy Cane can be made with just beads or fancied up with lace. If you do not have the materials required to make a Beaded Candy Cane Ornament, you can find some Beaded Candy Cane kits at Oriental Trading Company. These kits give enough supplies to make multiple ornaments. It is only the middle of September, so you have lots of time to get those Candy Cane decorations made before Christmas. Happy Crafting!!

Candy Cane Earrings

I found instructions to make Candy Cane Earrings at crafts-for-all-seasons.com. These earrings look really festive for the holidays and would make a great stocking stuffer. For this project you will need: 24 gauge wire, red and white wooden beads (I used 4 mM diameter); you can also use crystals, 4 clear seed beads, 4 - 4mM jump rings, 2 fish hook earrings and jewelry pliers and wire cutters.
